The famous Social networking Facebook has announced that due to an error in a software update, some Facebook users receive the wrong emails which raised the questions regarding user privacy.
This recent email glitch involving Facebook users is the current issue of privacy made by its competitors in the social networking area that have accomplished to attract the attention of privacy watchdogs
The social networking site Facebook stated that although some users were affected about this glitch, their technicians were working hard to correct it.
A Facebook spokesperson said in a statement that “Our engineers diagnosed the problem moments after it began and are working to get everything back in its rightful place. While they fixed the issue, affected users were not able to access the site”
Even though the social networking company was not ready to give an exact number of affected users, it seemed that a quite a few of these users were affected as the micro-blogging provider Twitter was flooded with Tweets from confused Facebook users who claimed that they had started receiving emails from various mail sites or senders they do not know.
